Greater Vision Baptist Church of Cincinnati is a King James preaching, biblical song and hymn singing, independent fundamental Baptist church under the direction of Pastor Daniel Pearson. We welcome you to join us for services.

OUR VISION

To reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
through faithfully teaching and preaching God’s Word.

Our desire is to help people come to faith in Christ and develop a personal relationship with Him that will transform their lives. We strive to spread the Gospel through personal evangelism, Bible preaching, and world missions. We believe the Bible has all the answers, and that a thorough understanding of God’s Word will shape our worldview as we live our lives.

OUR PURPOSE

To glorify the Lord through loving God, serving others, and growing in grace.

Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:18-20). Jesus’ final command is our first priority. Every facet of our church program relates to our biblical purpose in some way.

Loving God

This begins in the heart of the individual through a personal relationship with Christ. Our love for God grows as we gather to worship and learn through the preaching of the Word of God.

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.” (Mark 12:30)

Serving Others

We want each member to discover their spiritual gifts and utilize them faithfully within the local church. This is how God’s church works! We would love for you to join us on this journey.

“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.” (Galatians 5:13)

Growing in Grace

We grow the same way the church in Acts grew… through Bible preaching, the fellowship of the saints, and faithful service.

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18)

OUR MISSION

To reach the lost, disciple the saved, evangelize the world, and live Godly lives.

At Greater Vision Baptist Church of Cincinnati, we make every attempt to emphasize evangelism and discipleship in our activities as a local church. We also strive for holiness in our journey as disciples, making clear distinction between the world and the church. This is not designed to repel the lost, but to walk humbly and holy in this present world.

1 Reaching the Lost

Every soul is born in need of salvation, and that salvation comes solely through Jesus Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
(I Corinthians 15:1-4)

2 Discipling the Saved

Once a person is saved, it is imperative that the individual begin the discipleship journey. This is simply a process of setting one’s life apart for the service of the Lord.

“But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them.”
(2 Timothy 3:14)

3 Live Godly Lives

It is clear in Scripture that the church, Christ’s bride, be pure. A pure church will be distinctly church, as opposed to mirroring the world’s styles and practices. We strive for a “first-class” atmosphere without appealing to a worldly style of worship. This is accomplished by realizing that “church” is not about us, but about God.

“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”
(Titus 2:12)

“That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holyand without blemish.”
(Ephesians 5:27)
